Dr. Holland's Team of Dedicated Professionals

Desert Psychological has a sincere concern to care for the community. Dr. Holland and her team are committed to helping children, adolescents, families and individual members of our community overcome whatever mental health obstacles are preventing them from leading productive and successful lives.

Since 1998, Desert Psychological, has grown to encompass a multi-disciplinary team of licensed psychologists, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists.  Dr. Holland has supervised trainees since 2005 of all levels including Practicum Students, Pre Doctoral Interns, and Post Doctoral Fellows. Dr. Holland conducts forensic evaluations for Family Court and has been qualified as an expert in multiple states for issues pertaining to custody, sexual abuse and attachment.

As a result of her ongoing work with youth in foster care, in 1999 she co-founded a non-profit,
Child Focus, to provide services and resources to children in foster care and their families.  Child Focus, now a part of St. Jude's Ranch for Children, still maintains Dr. Holland's vision where sibling events allow brothers and sisters to maintain contact and Camp To Belong brings a sibling camping experience to those most in need.

Her recent appointment as the Exam Commissioner for the State of Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners is a testament to her reputation and ethical standards.
